Meet our Founding Pastors

Pastor Shadrach Omokhas and Elizabeth Pedro Omokhas are the founder and the senior pastors of Great Shepherd Ministries (GSM) Edmonton Founded in December 18, 2014, following God directions, and listening closely to the direction of the holy spirit.

This non-denominational church is quickly developing into a diverse congregation, with an apostolic gift for the twenty-first century.

Pastor Shadrach and his wife Elizabeth are driven by a passionate commitment to see people succeed in every area of life. That passion, along with their enthusiasm, genuine love for people and effective teaching has fueled a ministry, for the past years.

That same energy and commitment to sharing a positive, life-changing and Biblically based message with the world is the hallmark of Pastor Shadrach.

Pastor is committed to winning souls for Christ and uses preaching to provide God's divine Word to address matters important to salvation and human existence and for practical application. His focus is always on the glory of God!

His anointing and experience has gifted him with an ability to help the young, new Christians and those seasoned in Christ to prepare for, adapt to and experience transformation spiritually, economically, professionally, and socially in accordance to the Lord.

One of his favorite scriptures is "be ye not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. “Romans 12;2

Rev. Elizabeth Pedro Omokhas is an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus with the Eagle Worldwide Ministries and Canadian Christian Ministries.

She is an anointed preacher with the passion to build the Kingdom of God leading people to walk with the Lord by adopting the right theology.

Beyond ministering in words Pastor. Liz as she is shortly called is a gifted singer with a strong ministry philosophy. She ministers in the prophetic expressing the power of God through divine healing and deliverance to empower and transform the communities she lives in by the power of God.

Showing a great measure of boldness in the Holy Spirit and what he can do, Pastor Elizabeth has a call to reach out, teach and help women to fulfill their unique God-given call on earth. Pastor Elizabeth’s heart for women is made evident in her efforts to embrace and encourage women from all works of life and backgrounds.

Backing her passion with actions, Pastor Elizabeth has founded numerous women ministries among them are Springs of living water women Ministries now known as Destiny Women Ministry Toronto Canada.

She was the founder and President of Women Ministry in Christ Peace and Love evangelical Ministers and she just recently founded the Agape women Ministry Edmonton Canada.

In the quest to help equip humanity with the knowledge of divinity Pastor Elizabeth pursued and brought about the existence of River international college North West Edmonton where she presides currently as their Director.

She is a motivational speaker and currently working on her books. As way of giving back to the society, Pastor Elizabeth is also involved in humanitarian activities. Her team are involved in feeding few homeless people in Edmonton.

Great Shepherd Ministries (GSM) Edmonton is a vibrant multicultural, and non-denominational Church located in West Edmonton Canada. The Church come into existence with the inspiration, and directions from God Almighty with the purpose of preaching the uncompromised good news of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The church exists to proclaim and demonstrate the gospel of Jesus Christ and to promote the Christian maturity of her members and helping the community

We are committed to reaching out our society, and the world at large through missionary, and ministration of the word of God

He started ministering over 20 years ago Pastor Shadrach Omokhas is an Anointed in the ministry of prayer, healing and the prophetic, his powerful presentation of the word has touched countless lives over the past twenty years.
